Mr. Watkins became the first African-American elected to the Office of District Attorney in Dallas County, Texas. His innovated strategies has garnered him local, national and international attention from the New York Times, CNN, 60 Minutes, ABC’s “Good Morning America,” and a six-part documentary series entitled “Dallas DNA” on the Investigation Discovery TV Channel.
