Washington Koen Media hits Boston for the last stop of their national screening tour of the documentary Beyond the Bricks on November 20. The film centers on promoting local and national solutions to the low performance of black males in the school system. After the screening will be a panel discussion and audience Q & A moderated by Reverend Ray Hammond. Panelists include former State Senator Marie St. Fleur, Eric Esteves, Talia Rivera, Mel Miller and Jelani Lynch.
