Break out your hottest pair of denim for the original Hot Jeans Party featuring Mr. Montell “This is How We Do It” Jordan hosted by New Life Productions. DJ Mystique will be on the 1′s and 2′s spinning old school R&B and reggae for the mature crowd. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 for VIP, which includes a buffet and meet and greet with Montell. Beyond the Bricks Film & Symposium

Washington Koen Media hits Boston for the last stop of their national screening tour of the documentary Beyond the Bricks on November 20. The film centers on promoting local and national solutions to the low performance of black males in the school system. After the screening will be a panel discussion and audience Q & A moderated by Reverend Ray Hammond. Panelists include former State Senator Marie St. Fleur, Eric Esteves, Talia Rivera, Mel Miller and Jelani Lynch. Screening begins at 10am with sign-in at 9am in the Family Theatre of Wheelock College, 200 The Riverway. Turkey Drive and Job Fair

On November 19 and 20, Youth in Crisis will host their first annual job fair and a Turkey Drive. The event will be held at the Perkins Center featuring food, musical performances, summer job programs, life skills workshops, and service programs that cater to at risk youth. Ladies Night Out -Classic Fridays – Kings and Queens Edition
